Topics
I supervise MA theses in the broadly defined
fields of Finance, Macroeconomics, Statistical Methods (including Machine
Learning or Artificial Intelligence) and Health Economics.
Methods
Master
theses typically involve empirical work employing methods of causal inference
or machine learning, applied to a real-world dataset or used in the context of
a simulation study.
Start date
Your thesis
can officially start at one of two times during the year:
1. In the beginning of April
2. In the beginning of October

Requirements
Supervision
capacity is unfortunately limited and I am often
unable to meet the high demand for supervision. I expect you to have
successfully finished at least one of my courses below if you consider writing
your thesis with me:
