Zonoid Regions

Zonoid regions of an empirical distribution have numerous applications in multivariate statistical analysis. You can explore and compute zonoid trimmed regions using our dedicated R package (see more about R) . To learn more about R and access the tools we've developed, simply click the GIF below :

Package Setup

After downloading the package, install it on your machine by selecting the "Install from local ZIP file" option within your R environment. Once installed, you can load it like any standard R package using the name ‘zonoid’.

For detailed information about available functions, input and output formats, please refer to the built-in help documentation.

The program reads input data from a file. You can downlooad a sample input file here: Download. It should be placed into the working directory of R (see help for the package and corresponding functions).
